Blogs I looked around my classroom as students worked on a reading assignment. One student had already finished and was sketching in the margin, ready for more challenges. Two others were whispering, trying to make sense of unfamiliar vocabulary. Another sat staring at the page, overwhelmed before even beginning. A few students were working steadily, approaching the task in very different ways.
The lesson was solid. The objective was clear. But the learners in front of me needed different pathways to reach the content.
