Graduate-Level Courses for
Yarmouth School Educators

Teaching Channel is thrilled to share our new PO Program partnership with Yarmouth Schools offering 15% off all 1-, 2- & 3-credit graduate-level courses! As a trusted provider of high-quality, on-demand professional learning, we are dedicated to equipping educators with the tools they need to thrive.

Yarmouth School Department is deeply committed to fostering continuous professional growth for its teachers. Through this partnership, educators can access graduate-level courses from Teaching Channel, funded by the district, and apply them toward salary advancement.

Our self-paced, graduate-level courses are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing teachers to grow at their own pace while gaining practical, classroom-ready strategies that enhance both teaching and learning.

Together, we are proud to champion lifelong learning, supporting educators and leaders in their calling and empowering them to model excellence for future generations.

Quick Facts:

  • Course Funding: Yarmouth School Department will cover the full cost of eligible courses.
  • Graduate Credit Options: 1-, 2-, and 3-credit Teaching Channel courses qualify for salary advancement.
  • Pre-Approval Required: Teachers must submit a pre-approval form to confirm course eligibility before registering.
  • Eligible Course Types: Graduate-level Continuing Education courses (OL). Not Eligible: FLEX and Fast Track courses are not approved for credit.

How it Works:

  1. Browse Teaching Channel Graduate-level courses to decide on the courses that work best for you.
  2. Submit a Pre-Approval Form to Your District: Print, complete and submit the course pre-approval form to Yarmouth Schools before enrolling.
Teachers must receive Superintendent approval for course enrollment to be eligible for reimbursement or salary advancement.
  3. Upon approval, complete the Teaching Channel Registration Form.
Please enter PO District Savings Code: POProgramYarmouthSchools
  4. Access and download your Teaching Channel invoice immediately following registration and submit to:
Jill Pettengill, Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools
    [email protected]
This step is important, as Yarmouth requires teachers to submit invoices 3 weeks before payment is due. And, Teaching Channel requires payment within 30 days of registering.
  5. Earn Credits: Successfully complete the course with a B or better to qualify for salary advancement.
  6. In the event that the required grade is not achieved, the course is not completed, or employment ceases, please complete the Course Pre-payment Authorization Form.

Important Note:
You must submit evidence of satisfactory completion of the course(s) which can be achieved by requesting an official graduate-level transcript from your selected university partner. Please submit to:

Jill Pettengill, Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools
