Open-Ended Questions to Encourage Conversation

Asking open-ended questions encourages students to share their thinking thus building discussion and reasoning skills. Watch as students demonstrate a variety of ways to respond to questions and clarify their thinking around key concepts. Open-ended questions increase the level of thinking students must use, stretching their brains and keeping expectations high.
