Anecdotal Notes for Positive Assessment

This wonderfully positive and relationship-building strategy will teach students to look at their work through an objective lens. Anecdotal notes allow students to articulate how they feel about the learning process and take ownership of their learning in a direct way. The teacher can combine the student self-assessment with other assessment data and observations to guide next steps for learning.
