Learners Edge Launches 10 New Continuing Education Courses!

This is one of our favorite times of year – introducing our new slate of courses!

Christmas is almost here and our Curriculum and Instruction team is getting into the giving spirit with 10 brand new courses to help you start the new year. These courses will open for sale onDecember 16th – the same day Summer 2018 session opens for registration.Now is the perfect time to register. Maximize the time you have to complete your courses and discover a few nuggets of wisdom that you can use in your classroom today!

Instructional Strategies

Course 5018: Incorporating Mindfulness: Strategies to Encourage Student Focus and Awareness

Discover how to share the power and benefits of mindfulness with students, including stress reduction, increased focus, positive self-concept, emotional control, and affirming relationships.

Course 5022:One to One Instructional Coaching to Improve Your Teaching: Up Your Game(this course will open mid-January)

This course is packed with strategies and ways to create a positive and collaborative learning environment for ALL students, while making the content more comprehensible for students who may struggle with language.

Course 5032: Empathy & Understanding: The New Tools for Students with Challenging Behaviors

In this course, featuring Dr. Greene’s book Lost at School, you will find the steps you need for connecting with challenging students. Join us on this journey of empathy, problem solving and relationship building!

Course 5043:Thrive: Supporting LGBTQ Students in School

You can be an advocate for safe schools for all students! Learn the challenges lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) students face today, and provides important first steps to help teachers, support staff, and whole schools more fully support LGBTQ students.
