• Identify the 5 stages of language acquisition for English Learners.
• Understand the needs of English Learners and how to support EL students in the classroom.
• Examine ten classroom supports to improve EL student outcomes, including vocabulary strategies, linguistic accommodations, and cultural sensitivity.
• Apply instructional strategies to increase EL student engagement and achievement in the classroom.
