Transitioning With The Musical Line Up Strategy

Getting students to line up quickly and quietly, especially during transitions, can be challenging. If you’re looking for a fresh new idea, try using music as a motivator! When the song starts, students know their “work” begins – time to put away their materials and line up quietly for their next activity! Students enjoy the challenge of completing their tasks before the music ends, and choosing a new line-up song every few months can be a fun classroom decision.
