Classroom Activity: Build Your Own Rube Goldberg Machine

Rube Goldberg machines are an engaging way to give students practice in following a step-by-step process. Have students start small, such as getting a ball from the end of their machine into a bucket at the other end. Then, as they get experience, have them get creative with their machines, from turning a light to closing a door, their imagination is the limit!
