Teaching About the Israel-Hamas War

As educators, one of our vital responsibilities is to inform students about what is happening in the world; this means we must stay up-to-date with current events and communicate them in ways that are unbiased and developmentally appropriate. While this is important work, finding time to research with fidelity in the midst of an ever-evolving situation can be a difficult task!

The following interactive resource guide provides you with a framework for exploring the Israel-Hamas War with your students. By following each step in the framework, you can help students identify the importance of reflection throughout the process of investigating and discussing current events with their peers.

To use this resource guide, simply present the Genially in your classroom. You can click on the interactive links and videos embedded throughout the resource guide for additional tools and ideas. As always, make sure to preview the information and modify the resources as needed to best support your community of learners!
