Celebrating and Supporting Twice-Exceptional (2e) Learners

Goals and Objectives of this Course:

  • Use prompts about twice-exceptional learners (2e) to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
  • Design a strategy plan for 2e students who struggle with executive functioning and/or processing disorders.
  • Collaborate with a student or a colleague to complete 2e motivation evaluations or microgoals.
  • Implement a Family or Caregiver Reference to share signs of potential learning challenges.
  • Challenge the status quo related to neurodiversity by creating a lesson to teach students about twice-exceptionality and neurodiversity.
