Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use prompts about young children and mathematics to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
- Design developmentally appropriate lessons to teach mathematical concepts.
- Collaborate with a colleague to generate strategies for teaching mathematical concepts to young learners.
- Implement activities to teach young learners mathematical concepts in informal spaces.
- Challenge the status quo related to teaching math using English Language Arts (ELA) and books.
