Scaffolding Success for Students with Disabilities

Goals and Objectives of this Course:

  • Use provided prompts specific to scaffolds for students with disabilities to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers, and self, including how the information relates to professional educational practice.
  • Design pre-planned and “on the spot” scaffolds for existing lesson plans and/or collaborative learning activities.
  • Document collaborative work to expand knowledge about a student with a disability and identify scaffolds to increase success.
  • Implement one pre-planned and one “on the spot” scaffold and/or evaluate implementation of scaffolds.
