Goals and Objectives of this Course:

  • Use provided prompts specific to the science of learning, to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional educational practice.
  • Identify curricular areas to implement techniques for learning and retaining information.
    Design an activity to teach students brain-based strategies for learning and studying new
    information.
  • Challenge the status quo by developing a lesson that incorporates science of learning principles to support student retention of information.
