Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use provided prompts specific to computational thinking, to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional educational practice.
- Implement lesson ideas that include “unplugged” applications of computational thinking skills.
- Collaborate with a “pair programming” partner to complete a computer-based coding task.
Design a set of steps to teach students the process of evaluating and debugging an algorithm. - Challenge the status quo through the development of an implementation and/or advocacy plan for teaching computational thinking skills and concepts.
