Goals and Objectives of this Course:

  • Reflect on the depth of your previous knowledge and experience about adolescent development.
  • Understand how the brain develops through adolescence and how other factors such as trauma, substance abuse, peer pressure and social media affect healthy development.
  • Learn about the link between behavior and adolescent development.
  • Relate how knowledge about adolescent development has the potential to impact professional practice and student learning.
