Teaching Channel is looking to grow our video library and we want to spotlight amazing educators like you!

From distance learning and quick technology adoption to the return to classrooms and the social-emotional challenges of battling a pandemic, all educators are seeking and creating new ways to thrive in the classroom. Education has changed, and many teachers have adapted and excelled.

That’s why we want to hear from you! Teaching Channel is looking to add to our video library of over 1,400 videos, and we want you to share your brilliance.

Teaching Channel is seeking applications from educators everywhere to show us the good that is happening in classrooms today. Selected teachers will be filmed by Teaching Channel, in their classroom, showcasing their innovative approaches. These videos will be added to the Teaching Channel library.

Here’s How it Works: 

  • Think about the ways you created, adjusted, or reworked different strategies and lesson plans to suit the needs of your classroom.
  • Choose your best idea(s) and complete our application.
  • Submit your idea and we’ll take it from there!

Here are a few hints to help with the process.

  • Choose the idea you most want to share with us. 
  • Have more than one great idea? Share them all!
  • Share details of your strategy. Give examples of what worked and how it impacted your classroom or school.
  • Confirm that Teaching Channel will be authorized to film within your school or district. If there are specific restrictions, please include that in your application.

The first step is to complete the application telling us about your teaching ideas.

Teaching Channel will review incoming submissions on a rolling basis and will reach out to those chosen to discuss next steps, one of which is a short, 1-2 minute video showcasing your personality. If chosen, Teaching Channel will work with you, your school and your administration to determine a time to come in and create a video based on what you wish to share.

Teaching Channel will review submissions and reach out to applicants within one month of receipt.

Yes. We will review submissions in different batches, related to application deadlines. The deadlines are based on the filming schedule.
