Once July 4th hits, summer is over! At least that’s what my dad used to say. If summer was a weekend, it would be a Sunday. Every teacher knows the dramatic difference between a Saturday and a Sunday, and we realize after the 4th of July we are on summer’s home stretch.
Our “weekend” is over.
But all is not lost! A new school year brings possibilities and something every teacher, from rookie to veteran, knows and understands, anticipation. (Cue the music!)
As a Blended Learning instructor for Learners Edge, I am brimming with anticipation! After completing a summer of Blended courses with record registrations, we’ve just launched our fall offerings. This September and October, we are offering our four newest, teacher favorite, Blended courses! Here is what you can anticipate! (See how I did that?)
Join teachers from across the country for a synchronous (Zoom) session! Meet, greet and learn together, then complete the balance of your work on your own time in the Learners Edge online environment.
Fall Blended Learning Courses
Our live synchronous (Zoom) session is Saturday, September 25th, 10 am-1 pm Central
To put it simply, the course is a game-changer. 😊 You will learn how to infuse game-based learning into your classroom and remind yourself how much learning happens when students play. Check out this video to learn more!
Our live synchronous (Zoom) session is Monday, September 27th, 6 pm-9 pm Central
After such a challenging year, it is easy to understand why this was the first course to fill to capacity this summer. We will re-train our brains into remembering that stress is a good thing, we all have it, but it’s how we manage it that counts. No stress!
Managing Movement in Technology Times
Our live synchronous (Zoom) session is Thursday, September 30th, 6 pm-9 pm Central
Join us for a session filled with activities that you will use to keep your students moving! We don’t want to give away all our secrets, but if you can do this, you’re already ahead of the game!
Our live synchronous (Zoom) session is Wednesday, October 6th, 6 pm – 9 pm Central
This course is about giving your students the opportunity to think globally in a meaningful way! As we meet to discuss how to teach for good, we will have one request…that the answer to every question we ask is, “YES!”
