Dr. Angela Brooks & DeMarco Pitre
Dr. Angela Brooks is a passionate educator who keeps the students top of mind and is relentless about achieving results. She has served as a public school educator for almost 20 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels as a Teacher, Director of Talent, Principal and Executive Director. She was also an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago's School of Education. Through her dedication to excellence in education, she has successfully transformed schools resulting in high achievement for all students. Dr. Brooks now serves as a leadership coach in Washington State and a school culture coach for districts and schools implementing social emotional learning, multi-tired system of support, restorative practices, trauma informed practices, and strategies to address adverse childhood experiences. Angela founded Compassion, Achievement, and Hope, which is the framework for transforming school culture.
DeMarco Pitre is an educator and instructional coach committed to driving both student and teacher success within schools. A native of Southern Louisiana, DeMarco has been teaching literature to high school students in Chicago for the past 4 years. He has taught 9th, 10th, and AP English Literature and Language throughout his time teaching. He serves as a humanities instructional coach working to ensure positive student outcomes across all humanities classrooms in the building, while also continuing to teach juniors and seniors in AP Lit.
