Allison Hintz is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education and an Associate Dean in the School of Educational Studies at the University of Washington Bothell. She studies learning, alongside educators and children, in a wide range of formal and informal learning contexts. Kersti Tyson is Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of New Mexico. She is honored to be living and learning in New Mexico, her home state.
